Nascar Fan Gets Amazing Gift

A man turns 24 and considers it a milestone since his favorite Nascar driver is #24.
DUBOIS, CLEARFIELD COUNTY - Preston Freemer loves Nascar. He watches the races every week and calls his grandpa to discuss them. His favorite driver is Jeff Gordon #24.

Freemer has Autism. For his 24th Birthday his stedad, Mike Lazar and his mother Tracy planned a trip to go to Phoenix, Arizona for a race.

Lazar mentioned the trip to a friend.

"Ryan at H and H Performance in DuBois and he's affiliated with Smith Transport which is a sponsor for Mike Wallace Racing and Nascar" said Lazar.

Mike Wallace hooked Preston, Preston's mom, Tracy and Lazar up with hot passes.

They were able to go into all the garages and were in the pits for the races.

"We went down in the pits and watched the cars spin out of the pits and I got to see Jeff Gordon down there" said Freemer.

He took a picture with him and even got to tell him a few things.

"I get to talk to him for a minute see how he's doing; he better win!" Freemer told Gordon.

The last race of the season is this weekend and the family says they will be watching with a new perspective. They thank everyone who made it possible.
