Murder Suspect Turns Himself In

Johnstown Police confirm murder suspect turned himself in.
JOHNSTOWN, CAMBRIA COUNTY - Johnstown Police say Demetrius Gibson turned himself in Saturday night.

Gibson was arraigned by the on-call magistrate on homicide and other charges. He was taken to Cambria County jail and will be held without bail.

Gibson is the suspect in a homicide that happened last week in Johnstown's Moxham neighborhood. Gibson allegedly stabbed his girlfriend, Elizabeth Miller to death.

It happened right around 4:50 Tuesday morning at the car wash across from the Dollar General on Bridge Street.  Elizabeth Miller was allegedly stabbed in the back and taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical where she later died.  Police have been searching for her on-off again boyfriend Demetrius Gibson who allegedly committed the murder.
