Murder Suspect Caught

Authorities thought Pittsburgh man was hiding in Central Pa.

PITTSBURGH - A murder suspect believed to be hiding in Central Pa. has been caught.

James Lawrence was wanted for killing a man in Pittsburgh in March.

U.S. Marshals said they had information that the 21-year-old may have been in the Johnstown area.

However, police caught up to Lawrence on Wednesday in the Pittsburgh area.

He was arraigned and put in jail early Thursday morning in Allegheny County. Bail was denied.

He's next due in court on Aug. 30 for a preliminary hearing.
