EASTON, NORTHAMPTON COUNTY - Can a judge order a mother to stop breastfeeding a baby so that the child can have visitation with a father?
Apparently in Pennsylvania it can happen.
Jessica Moser from Northampton County is outraged over the directive.
At a recent custody hearing, the judge ruled 10-month-old Jasmine must stay with her father overnight for two days, leaving Jessica with few options to feed her baby.
She says she can't pump enough milk to feed Jasmine for two days and she won't take a bottle.
Moser says she's not trying to keep Jasmine from her father, she just wants what's best for her daughter.
But if she doesn't follow the court order, Jasmine could be taken away.
