Milder air is starting to move into the region for the last days of fall. We’ll have a mix of clouds and sunshine today but will be blustery with temperatures in the upper 30s and low 40s. Some clouds will start moving in during the overnight hours with temperatures near or just above freezing and fog forming in places. Rain showers will move in Friday with temperatures continuing to climb, into the mid 40s for Friday. The first day of winter Saturday will bring rain showers and temperatures in the upper 40s and low 50s. This warming period will peak Sunday with highs in the mid or even upper 50s across the region. Chilly air returns for next week, with a chance for snow showers or flurries Monday and Christmas Eve.
