Updated: Sunday morning, December 15th
Reported by: Meteorologist Steve Newton

A few snow showers and flurries will be left over today, mainly in the Laurel Highlands. Westerly winds will pick up Sunday and some valley communities could get above freezing with the chance of clouds breaking for sunshine, but the wind chill will make it feel like temperatures are in the teens and low 20s. Overall for the first half of the week colder air will be over the region, with low temperatures in the teens and highs in the 20s. Flurries and snow showers are possible Monday through Wednesday, but we will dry out for the second half of the week. Warmer air will move in for the weekend, with 40° possible for many locations.
