Areas will see drenching downpours this morning.

Reported by Meteorologist Regina Miller

A strong cold front is moving across the region this morning.  A warm southerly wind ahead of the front gave us early high temps in the upper 60s to around 70, however temps will fall into the 50s late today behind the front. We'll have gusty winds associated with this front as well as a chance for flooding downpours for some this morning.  The entire batch of rain looks to be pushing through quickly and will already be to our east by early afternoon.  Tonight will be mainly clear to the south of I-80 and we'll have some patchy clouds to the north.  Lows will be in the low to mid 40s.  Tomorrow we'll have sunshine mixing with just a few afternoon clouds.  Temps will be in the low to mid 60s.  Wednesday looks to be sunny with some afternoon clouds filtering into southern parts of the region.  Highs will be in the upper 60s.  Thursday is a question mark.  A disturbance could ride up the coast and into Pennsylvania bringing clouds and the chance for showers. However, that disturbance could stay east and leave us with a partly sunny day.
