Clouds are yielding to plenty of sunshine across the region today.

Clouds are breaking across the region, leaving us with a partly to mostly sunny day and temperatures reaching the upper 60s and low 70s by this afternoon. If you are heading to one of the high school football games this evening, I recommend a jacket to keep warm after sunset around 7 this evening. A few clouds will be around during the overnight hours with some patchy fog and temperatures in the mid to upper 40s. Saturday is looking quite nice with temperatures in the low 70s and plenty of sunshine in the afternoon. Clouds will increase Sunday as a front pushes in from the west but temperatures will reach into the 70s in many spots. The only blemish on this week’s forecast is Monday when we will have some showers or drizzle moving through. Going into October, the overall pattern is going to hold with a good mix of sun and clouds with temperatures in the low 70s.
