Meet Bertha the 25 Pound Cat!

Bertha was abandoned near a dumpter and is in need of a fur-ever home and a family to love her.

Jeannine Gailey from the Humane Society of Cambria County introduces us to Bertha the 25.8 pound cat!

"Bertha" is up for adoption and in need of a loving home. She is around 5 years old and is already spayed. She also has a very lovable personality! Jeannine believes the world's fattest cat was 40 pounds, so she says Bertha didn't beat that record. But she is a big girl, which just means she's full of love. Bertha was abandoned and left in a carrier behind the dumpster in the parking lot of the shelter.

In other news, the Humane Society of Cambria County is in despirate need of an air conditioning system for the shelter. They have air conditioning in their lobby, but air conditioning in the kennel areas has been broken for years. The shelter wants to fix it to keep their pets and workers cool, but they need to raise $15,000.00 in order to have air conditioning installed throughout the shelter.

Donations can be made through their website.
