Martin's to Reward Altoona Customers

Shoppers to be selected at random for additional savings at the checkout.
ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY - As more consumers are trying store brand and private label items in an
effort to save on their grocery shopping, MARTIN'S Food Markets is introducing a new
program to reward their customers with even greater savings at the checkout.

Members of MARTIN'S Our Brands Patrol will be visiting select stores in Altoona this weekend
randomly selecting customers to win even greater savings at the check-out.

For every MARTIN'S Our Brand item the Patrol finds in a selected customers' grocery
cart, he or she will receive a $5 gift card. The reward is capped at $50 per customer.

"As a thank you to customers who are purchasing our brand items, the Patrol offers a
unique opportunity to highlight the quality of our brands," said Jeff Beaulieu, Vice
President of Sales and Merchandising. "Based on customer feedback, we recently
reformulated hundreds of our products to improve upon taste and quality. Customers
will not only find more affordable prices, but they will discover our brand of products
meets or beats national brand standards for quality and freshness."

MARTIN'S Our Brands Patrol continues each weekend through October 8 in select markets.
