CLARION, CLARION COUNTY - Agents from the Pennsylvania Attorney General's office arrested an area psychiatrist accused of illegally prescribing medications.
Dr. Thomas Radecki was taken into custody and arraigned Tuesday.
The 67-year-old, based in Clarion County, ran four offices to treat drug addicts.
One of those opened in DuBois in March 2012. The state shut it down three months later amid an investigation.
Radecki's now charged with prescribing and selling controlled substances to patients who did not need or use them. Investigators said those people then resold the drugs illegally.
Radecki's also accused of insurance fraud and having inappropriate contact with several female patients.
He's next due in Clarion County court on Sept. 3 and is free on $25,000 bail.
