Krestar's Lawyer Wants Him Out of Jail

We're learning more about a bizarre case of a local man accused of trying to hire his uncle to kill one of his employees.
COALPORT, CLEARFIELD COUNTY -We're learning more about a bizarre case of a local man accused of trying to hire his uncle to kill one of his employees.

Shane Krestar's attorney says he's innocent and he's trying to get him out of jail while the while this moves through the court. Krestar owns Key Life Human Services in Coalport, Clearfield County. Police say Krestar tried to hire his relative James Hoopsick to kill one of his employees.

They say Krestar says the openly gay employee wanted a raise and threatened to quote play the gay card is she didn't get it. Police say Krestar asked Hoopsick four times to make something happen to her so it would all go away. One time he allegedly said, “I want it done, I’ll pay you anything.”

He's charged with two counts of Criminal Solicitation and another count of Terroristic Threats.

Police arrested Krestar Friday night and he hasn't had his hearing yet. His lawyer says there is no evidence to back those allegations up, and his client is sitting in jail unable to get out. Tom Dickey plans to file a motion to get him out of jail Thursday morning.
