(Pittsburgh) -  With the AFC Title game just a day away, the N.Y. Jets cranked up the verbal heat on Friday.  Some Jets players went after Steelers veteran wide receiver Hines Ward, calling him a "dirty" player.

Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie did not specifically call Ward "dirty," but did say Ward's not "man enough to hit you when you're looking at him,"  later adding, " i know for a fact he will hit you while you're not looking."

The Steelers and Jets meet in tomorrow's AFC Championship game, with the winner going to Super Bowl 45 in Dallas.
