Hospice Horse Show Success

12th annual show draws big crowds.
WINDBER, CAMBRIA COUNTY - Hundreds came out to the Johnstown Saddle Club in Adams Township this weekend, all to raise some money to help those in need.
The 12th annual Windber Hospice Benefit Horse Show featured riders from throughout the region competing in the two day event. It's become one of the largest fundraisers in the area, raising more than $20,000, and organizers say this year wasn't any different.
"I was at the very first hospice show at Golden Star and we had snow in May and despite that start we continue to grow and more people keep coming out and want to join the fun." Windber Hospice Director Roxanne Berkey says.
All of the proceeds raised benefit the local hospice program helping families in a time of need.
