Good and Bad of a Winter Storm

Local people look at the good and bad of the coming snow storm.
ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY - Local people look at the good and bad of the coming snow storm.

As that storm gets closer and closer to Central Pennsylvania folks are getting ready to greet it in different ways. Some people were preparing for the worst, but some people are welcoming it.

Janelle Defibaugh bought groceries for her mom's best friend before the storm hits. She’s a little older and is worried about the storm, but Janelle isn't. All her vehicles are four-wheel-drive she has a 14 year old son if things need shoveled.

Natalie Smith was stocking up for her family. She bought bread and lunch meant in case they’re snowed in.

The parking lots in the grocery store were full of people just like them who were stocking up for the storm. But the folks at Spokes and Skis in Altoona are hoping for lots of snow. Bryan Caporuscio says he gets more customers when people hear snow is on the way.

Back at the grocery store Natalie has some advice for everyone else. Have lots of food in the house.
