Rain ends this morning but winds continue.
Updated Friday Morning, November 1st
Reported by Meteorologist Regina Miller

A strong front brought a band of heavy rain and strong winds through the region.  As the front pushes eastward, we will have some lingering showers, but winds will continue to be gusty through the midday.  A Wind Advisory is in effect across much of the region.  Winds will be in the 20-30 mph range, however some winds may still gust 40-50 mph, especially on the ridgetops.  Mild temps early will be in the mid 60s.  Clouds will break for some sunshine today.  Tonight will be partly cloudy with a chance for a late shower.  Tomorrow, there may be a couple of spotty showers with temps in the low to mid 50s.  Some early sun will mix with increasing PM clouds, along with a few spotty showers.  Saturday night there may be some snowflakes or a ridgetop snow shower mixing in.  Sunday, there may be some early sprinkles or flurries, but expect some PM sun and temps averaging in the mid 40s.
