Free Flu Shots at the Pa Farm Show

Docs say it's not too late to protect yourself!

You can get a free flu shot and enjoy the Pennsylvania Farm Show. The Department of Health will offer free influenza vaccines at the 2014 Pennsylvania Farm Show, Jan. 4-10, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Jan. 11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

You don't need an appointment to get a free flu shot, but anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian with them. The Health Department says, flu-related illness in Pennsylvania is mostly due to type a influenza H191, which is well matched to this year's flu vaccine.
