Franklin Will Be Blair County Sports HOF's Featured Speaker

16th Annual ceremony will be April 26th at The Blair County Convention Center.
ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY - A slight change has been announced for the upcoming Blair County Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.

The original featured speaker, Bill O'Brien will not be attendance for obvious reasons.  Instead it will be O'Brien's successor, new Penn State head football coach James Franklin.

The event will be held on Saturday April 26th at the Blair County Convention Center.

Inductees include, Karen (Brumbaugh) Gallagher (tennis), Jason Kutz (wrestling), Dave Patterson (track & field), Tom Wilt (boxing), and Len Zandy (basketball/baseball).

The 1966-67 Bishop Guilfoyle boys basketball team will also be inducted.

Tickets are $85 or $850 for a table of 10.
