Forest Hills Back on Track With 42-0 Win Over Cambria Heights

Rangers improve to 3-2 on the season.
SIDMAN, CAMBRIA COUNTY - It had not been a pleasant last couple week for Don Bailey's Forest Hills Rangers.

Outscored by a 56-14 margin, falling to Bishop Carroll and Bishop Guilfoyle.  However the Rangers got back to business Friday night putting up 42 points, in a shut-out win over Cambria Heights.

The Rangers started the scoring with a 56-yard drive that ended with a 2-yard TD run by Junior Quarterback, Joe Donoughe.  Then several Highlander turnovers resulted in 3 more Ranger touchdowns before the half.  This included a 12-yard touchdown run by Donoughe, a 4-yard TD pass to Sophomore Fullback, Ian Wieczorek, and a Donoughe quarterback sneak, to set the score at 27-0 at the half.

The Rangers did not let up after halftime, as Junior, Shareef Blough scored on a 52-yard scamper in the 3rd quarter. Blough ended the game with 89 rushing yards and 64 receiving yards. Then Tyler Shima got in on the act with a 26-yard gallop for a score.

Junior TE, Logan Madison made some big plays on offense with 6 catches for 117 yards.

Donoughe finished the game 11-20 for 214 passing yards and 45 rushing yards, along with 1 interception on defense.  Donoughe also had 1 passing and 3 rushing TD's in the game.

Defensively, Shima recorded 15 tackles for the Rangers, and Dusty Ohler contributed 13 tackles to the defensive effort.

The (3-2) Rangers look to continue their winning ways against Central Cambria (4-1) Friday night.
