ALTOONA - A family of five won't be able to go home Friday after fire damaged part of their house.
Crews were called out just before 10 a.m. to 1905 18th Street in Altoona.
The fire started in a bedroom on the second floor of the two-story house.
One adult and four children lived there.
Everyone was able to make it out safely and no injuries were reported.
There was some smoke and water damage.
But the firefighters say they were able to contain the flames to just the one room.
Investigators are still working on determining the cause.
The red cross is helping the family find a place to stay.
