Fewer U.S. Pregnancies

Rate the lowest in 12 years.

U.S. pregnancy rates are at the lowest level in twelve  years.

The Centers for Disease Control says the biggest drop is among teens and women in their 20's. The rate of  teen births is historically low with  fewer teens saying they're having sex,   and  those who are sexually active saying they're using contraceptives.

The percentage of pregnancies among women in their 30's and 40's is  on the rise.
