Reported by: Chief Meteorologist Joe Murgo

The cold weather pattern continued today despite clouds and flurries giving way to some sunshine. Tonight will be mainly clear and cold with a brisk wind and lows in the lower to middle 20s. Some of the coldest ridge locations will reach the upper teens. With an area of high pressure building to our south, the cold will ease quickly through the end of the week. Temperatures will rebound into the upper 40s Thursday with sunshine and a few high clouds, but a bit of a breeze will make it still feel chilly in the shade. The warmup will continue on Friday with some sunshine pushing temperatures back into the lower to middle 50s. Saturday will be just as mild even though we'll see a little more in the way of clouds and the slightest chance for a shower. A couple of showers are more likely Sunday but it will be mild with highs in the 50s. Monday will also be mild with showers, but then a sharp cold front will bring rain then snow showers with the temperatures falling on Tuesday. Temperatures will drop to well below average on Wednesday.
