The dry and comfortable weather pattern continues.
Updated: Tuesday Evening, September 24th, 2013
Reported by: Chief Meteorologist Joe Murgo

High pressure continues to dominate our weather pattern and keep us in a dry and comfortable pattern. With a clear sky and light winds, temperatures will fall rapidly once again tonight. Low temperatures will be near 40 with the colder spots dropping into the 30s with a touch of frost possible again. There will also be areas of fog later on at night into Wednesday morning, then the rest of Wednesday will feature sunshine and a few clouds with temperatures rebounding to near or just above 70. A weak disturbance will bring a few clouds mixed with the sunshine on Thursday but it will still be comfortable with highs in the middle 70s. High pressure will establish itself over the region again for Friday and Saturday giving us a good deal of sunshine with just some patches of morning fog. Cool mornings will turn into comfortable afternoons. The combination of an easterly flow from the Atlantic and a disturbance approaching from the west will bring more in the way of clouds Sunday and Monday. There can be some showers later Sunday and some showers or drizzle on Monday.
