The warm weather pattern continues
Updated: Tuesday Evening October 1st, 2013
Reported by: Chief Meteorologist Joe Murgo

A stubborn area of high pressure to our south will keep us in a warm weather pattern into the upcoming weekend. Mostly of tonight will be mainly clear, but with higher dewpoint temperatures, there will be fog developing later at night. Wednesday will start with fog and low clouds, but this should burn off for a good deal of sunshine. With the sunshine temperatures will make a run well up into the 70s to near 80. Thursday will also be partly sunny and warm with highs in the upper 70s to near 80. A warm front will pass close enough to the area to bring the chance for a shower or thunderstorm to a few spots on Friday. Behind the warm front, temperatures could also make a push toward the 80 degree mark. Sunday will still be relatively warm, but not quite as warm as Saturday as clouds will start to move in from an approaching cold front. There may be a shower or thunderstorm in spots later Sunday but a better chance for some rainfall with this slow moving front Monday into Tuesday.
