Evening Forecast Tuesday, November 5th, 2013

Despite some clouds, we will turn even a little milder for the midweek.
Updated: Tuesday Evening, November 5th, 2013
Reported by: Chief Meteorologist Joe Murgo

Once again we had more clouds than sunshine today and that kept it from getting too mild with highs near or just above 50 in most spots. These clouds will still be stubborn tonight and a partly to mostly cloudy sky will help for tonight to still be milder than recent nights with lows in the upper 30s to near 40. Wednesday will feature a mix of clouds and sunshine and it will be a bit breezy ahead of an approaching cold front. Temperatures will rebound a little more with highs in the middle 50s. This next front will bring a band of showers to the area on Thursday. Right before the front, early Thursday will still be mild then temperatures will drop during the afternoon with even the chance for snowflakes to mix in with scattered showers later in the day. There will be scattered sprinkles and flurries Thursday night into Friday morning then the rest of Friday will be cloudy to partly sunny, brisk and chilly with highs only in the upper 30s to the lower 40s. A bubble of high pressure will give us at least partial sunshine on Saturday. Another disturbance could bring a stray shower or two on Sunday followed by some sunshine for the beginning of next week.
