The warm weather pattern will continue for three more days.
Updated: Thursday Evening, October 3rd, 2013
Reported by: Chief Meteorologist Joe Murgo

The warm weather pattern continues and will last for at least another few days. There is a front stalled to our north and that did help spark a couple of isolated showers today and there will be a couple of stray showers in the area tonight. Otherwise, we'll have some clouds tonight with patchy fog and lows in the 50s to near 60. Friday will be warm and a little humid for this time of the year despite more clouds than sunshine. There will be a shower or thunderstorm in places Friday afternoon or evening. Saturday will be partly sunny and warm with just a slight chance for a stray shower or thunderstorm with temperatures reaching to near 80. There will be more clouds on Sunday but it will stay warm with highs well into the 70s. There will be a shower or thunderstorm in some spots Sunday and Sunday night. A front will then move in from the west and can tap tropical moisture from the Gulf of Mexico and bring us numerous showers or a period of steadier rain Monday. There will still be a lot of leftover clouds Tuesday with perhaps a leftover shower or two. Behind that system, an area of high pressure will settle over the region and give us plenty of sunshine for the middle of next week.
