Evening Forecast Thursday, November 14th, 2013

Milder air started to win out today and should be around through the weekend.
Updated: Thursday Evening, November 14th, 2013
Reported by: Chief Meteorologist Joe Murgo

The combination of a westerly flow and a good deal of sunshine helped to kick off a warming trend today with the mercury reaching to near 50 in spots. Tonight will be mainly clear and still a bit chilly, but there will be enough of a breeze to prevent it from being as cold as recent nights with lows fairly close to 30. Friday and Saturday will be breezy and milder with a mix of clouds and sunshine each day. There may be a shower in a few spots later Friday night into Saturday but most of us should be rain free. There will be a better chance of some showers Sunday, but it will still be mild with highs in the 50s. The next front will bring more numerous showers on Monday. This front will pass to the east Monday night. A secondary front will then push through with rain showers followed by snow showers on Tuesday. There will be another sharp shot of chilly air through the middle of next week, but like this time around, the chill shouldn't last too long.
