Updated: Saturday evening, October 5th
Reported by: Meteorologist Steve Newton

Much of the region stayed dry today as clouds increased from the west, but some showers did pop up with the occasional rumble of thunder. There will be some showers during the overnight hours and fog will build in for some locations as we go into Sunday with temperatures around 60°. Sunday will be humid with a mix of sun and clouds and a stray shower with temperatures near 80°. Clouds will increase late Sunday ahead of a cold front which will move through Monday, bringing periods of rain and cooler air. It will stay breezy Monday and Tuesday with high temperatures in the 60s both days. Once the front moves through an area of high pressure will start building in and temperatures will climb back into the 70s for the second half of the week.
