Unseasonably cold air and snow showers will move through the region this weekend.
Updated: Saturday evening, November 23rd
Reported by: Meteorologist Steve Newton

Colder air and bands of snow are moving into the region. This arctic blast will bring the coldest air we have seen this year into the region and temperatures will be close to records as we go into next week. Bands of snow will move through during the overnight hours with low temperatures in the teens in many locations. Sunday will be one of the coldest days Central PA has ever seen in November, with highs in the 20s. Some communities in the northwestern portion of our viewing area may stay in the teens Sunday as snow showers move through the region with a strong northwesterly wind. A few flurries may be left over Monday and temperatures will be in the low to mid 30s. Toward the middle of the week there will be a slight improvement with some communities seeing 40° before Thanksgiving.
