Showers return to close out the weekend, with some downpours possible.
Updated: Saturday evening, November 16th
Reported by: Meteorologist Steve Newton

It will be mild tonight with temperatures dropping into the mid 40s. Clouds will increase during the overnight hours with some communities, mainly north of Route 22, seeing showers by sunrise.  Some gusty winds will move in with the rain showers, and there could be some downpours in the afternoon as more showers move through the region. The warm air will be around for another day, with high temperatures in the mid 50s to around 60°. A cold front is going to move through Sunday night into Monday, bringing another round of showers. Gusty winds will be seen behind the front Monday with highs in the low to mid 50s, and we will have a brief break before the next chance for showers arrives late Monday. A few snowflakes could mix in Monday night into Tuesday, but colder air will be the bigger story for the middle of the coming week with highs in the mid 30s.
