Evening Forecast Friday, November 29th, 2013

We're going to stay chilly through the rest of the holiday weekend thanks to a good deal of clouds.
Updated: Friday Evening, November 29th, 2013
Reported by: Chief Meteorologist Joe Murgo

The chilly pattern continued today with more clouds than sunshine, scattered flurries and temperatures only reaching the 30s. The sky will partially clear tonight, and with light winds, the mercury will drop into the teens. Clouds will thicken back up across the region and will help temperatures from rising much more than the lower to middle 30s despite a southeasterly flow of wind. Sunday will also feature more clouds than sunshine and a stray flurry or two can not be ruled out with highs in the middle to upper 30s. A disturbance will approach the area on Monday. We'll have a good deal of clouds with scattered sprinkles and flurries during the afternoon. This disturbance will bring more flurries Monday night into Tuesday. There amy also be a sprinkle or two Tuesday with temperatures reaching to near 40. Wednesday will be a little milder with clouds and sunshine and temperatures reaching into the lower to middle 40s. It will turn even milder with Thursday into Friday despite showers.
