Reported by: Chief Meteorologist Joe Murgo

One front pushed to our east this morning. In it's wake, it was still warm today with some sunshine and a gusty breeze pushing us well into the 60s. Tonight will be partly cloudy and chillier than recent nights with lows in the 40s. Another front will push through the area on Saturday. While there can be some peeks of sunshine early in the day, the rest of the day will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Temperatures will briefly reach into the 50s during the middle of the day, but then the mercury will start to drop during the afternoon. Behind that cold front, it will be cold enough for rain showers to mix with snow showers. There could even be a small covering on some of the ridges. A chilly breeze will continue into Sunday. The day will start with plenty of clouds, some flurries but the clouds will break later in the day. A clear sky and light winds will set the stage for a cold night Sunday night with lows well down in the 20s. High pressure sitting over the region will give us plenty of sunshine Monday and Tuesday. Each day will start chilly with afternoon temperatures reaching the lower 50s in most spots on Monday and well into the 50s on Tuesday. The warming trend will continue Wednesday into Thursday but the next front will bring rain showers Thursday. Behind that front, much chillier air will return for the close of next week.
