The mild pattern will last into the weekend.
Updated: Friday Evening, November 15th, 2013
Reported by: Chief Meteorologist Joe Murgo

The mild pattern continued to develop today with some sunshine helping to push temperatures well into the 50s to near 60 in some spots. This evening will be fairly nice and mild for mid-November with an increase in cloudiness. A weak disturbance will slide over the area during the middle of the night and will bring a couple of isolated showers through the overnight hours. The atmosphere is very dry so any rainfall will be very light. This disturbance will move out and leave us with a nice and mild start to the weekend. Saturday will be mild with a mix of clouds and sunshine with temperatures once again reaching the 50s. The atmosphere will moisten more and bring a better chance for showers on Sunday along with a gusty wind. Rainfall will be a little steadier Sunday night into early Monday as the first of two fronts moves through the area. It will still be windy Monday and there may be a lull in the rainfall Monday afternoon and Monday night until a second front arrives. This second front will bring another round of rain, then perhaps snow showers Tuesday as even colder air starts to push into the region. Wednesday will be windy and cold with a mix of clouds and sunshine with highs in the 30s. There will be another break with some sunshine Thursday before another front moves into the region by the end of next week.
