Annually there are three prestigious awards presented in the Greater DuBois area: the Community Cup for larger businesses and organizations; the Small Business of the Year for business representing continued growth and success; and the JC's Distinguished Person of the Year.

The Community Cup winner this year is Johnson Motors.  This award annually recognizes one business, civic group, or non-profit organization which has shown positive and effective performance in community service.  It highlights the entrepreneurial spirit of organizations who have taken responsibility for our community's betterment.  All too often this work goes unnoticed:  thus the reason for this award.  There is no other to compare to The Community Cup.

The Small Business of the Year recipient is Brady Street Florist.  The Award places  emphasis on membership as the nominee must be a member in good standing of the Chamber of Commerce, and a locally owned, privately held company; they must have less than 50 employees; the nominee must have been in business under the current ownership for a period of three successive years, each of which has been profitable; the nominee must demonstrate involvement in professional, business or trade associations to benefit the business; and he should demonstrate aid to the community including leadership and achievements in community affairs.

The DuBois Area JC's presented their Distinguished Person of the Year to Anthony "Bubs" Suplizio for his years of tireless efforts for the good of community family and church.
