Drug-Laced Cereal Bars Found on Sidewalk

Police are reminding parents to inspect their children's candy before allowing them to eat it this Halloween.

STATE COLLEGE, CENTRE COUNTY – State College Police are investigating after a resident found three homemade cereal bars on a sidewalk that were laced with marijuana.

According to police the bars were found early Thursday morning in the 200 block of E. College Avenue in a zip-close bag and wrapped in tin foil.

State College Police recommend parents establish a “Bring it Home First” rule with their children and to examine everything before letting children consume their candy.
