Driver Arrested After Crash

Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash.
PENN TOWNSHIP, HUNTINGDON COUNTY – A Duncansville man was arrested after he crashed his car Tuesday evening near the Blair/Huntingdon County line.

According to State Police, Gary Butler was travelling east on Mountain Road with a passenger when his Ford Explorer left the road and traveled up a steep embankment. The SUV struck some large rocks and rolled onto its driver side in the eastbound lane.

Both Butler and the juvenile passenger were determined to be under the influence of alcohol.

Neither Butler nor his passenger was wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. Charges are pending in District Court.
