Defense Takes Over in Roles Trial

The defense called most of their witnesses in the trial for a man accused of driving drunk and killing his teenage son in a crash.
EAST TAYLOR TOWNSHIP, CAMBRIA COUNTY - In Cambria County, the defense called most of their witnesses Thursday in the trial for a man accused of driving drunk and killing his teenage son in a crash.

Prosecutors say 16-year-old Brian Roles Jr. died when he was a passenger in his father's SUV. The crash happened in East Taylor Township on April 8th, 2012. Prosecutors rested their case Wednesday saying Brian Roles Sr. was drunk behind the wheel at the time of the crash.

But the defense says it was actually the teen behind the wheel at the time of the crash. They called five witnesses Thursday before the trial broke for the afternoon. They have one more witness scheduled for Friday and it is expected to be in the hands of the jury late afternoon.
