The "Voices of America" stage show is back by popular demand! The concert features music to celebrate America and it's Veterans and was coordinated by Karen Knight. Karen and Drew Baker appear on today's Central PA Live to discuss the show. Karen also sings a song for us, live.

Combining heart stirring music, narration, drama, multimedia presentations, and tributes to our Troops and Veterans, VOICES FOR AMERICA will be an exciting concert you will not want to miss.
The concert is being produced by Heartsongs Ministries, Inc, of Lancaster, PA, a non-profit ministry of Christian Concert artist, Karen Knight, and will benefit Tomorrow's Hope located in Coalport, PA.
Tomorrows Hope is a locally owned, transitional housing and service center, which was recently built. The purpose of Tomorrow's Hope is to provide shelter and basic necessities to homeless veterans. Residents are provided with safe and comfortable room and board, healthy meals three times a day and snacks from a full-service cafeteria. Additionally, transportation, rehabilitative and recreational activities are offered that meet individual interests and needs.
Karen Knight is former lead actress with Sight & Sound theaters located in Lancaster, PA. Motivated by her involvement veteran's organizations, Karen's ministry has been producing Voices for America wherever the opportunity presents itself. Karen's father was a career member of the Air Force and Karen's concern for military families has led her around the world in an effort to show support, share her faith, and say thank you to those who served and are serving.
In addition to Ms. Knight, the concert will feature the talents Rep. Jerry Stern, Senator John Eichelberger, former Centre County DA, Michael Madeira, Mr. Richard Merryman. A community choir, under the direction of Mrs. Eileen Mitchell, will enhance the music of the afternoon. In addition to our Veterans who are our ultimate guests of honor for the day, others will include State Representatives, Local Commissioners, and Judges. There will be special musical salutes to Veterans, and displays that the audience will be able to experience prior to the start of the concert.
Admission will be free with a love offering to be taken to benefit the Tomorrow's Hope. The Pre-concert display will begin at 2:30PM/5:30PM. The concert begins at 3:00PM with doors open for concert seating of ticket holders at 2:30PM/6:30PM. At 3:15pm/7:15pm, remaining seats will be available to those who were unable to obtain a ticket.
The concert will be held at First Church of Christ (across from the PSU Altoona Campus.
