Virgin Galactic Aiming for Flights by End of 2014

The flights still require FAA approval.
NEW YORK, NEW YORK – Virgin Galactic said they hope to start flying commercial flights to the upper edges of the atmosphere by the end of 2014.

The company wants to begin test flights in the spring and the flights still require FAA approval.

The company says they it already sold 680 tickets at $250,000 each, but adds the feeling of weightlessness space travelers will experience is priceless.

Virgin Galactic plans to have their space plane take off from their spaceport in New Mexico.
