SAXTON: Bedford County Veterans Day Ceremony being hosted by CPT Phillips VFW Post 4129 at the Saxton Vol. Fire Co. Hall in Saxton on Mon. Nov. 11, 2013. The Ceremony will follow the Veterans Day Parade, sponsored by the Saxton Vol. Fire Co. which starts at 10:00 am with line up starting at 9:00 am.

ALTOONA: Parade beginning at 10am,begins forming on 8th Avenue and 17th Street, will continue across the 17th Street Bridge

JOHNSTOWN: Parade beginning at 4pm in downtown Johnstown forming at Main and Union Street.

DUBOIS: Penn State DuBois holding a series of ceremonies beginning around 1pm near the campus flag pole at the Schoch Plaza. Perfromance by PSU DuBois Choir and special guest speaker.

---The DuBois Area Middle School will hold a Veteran's Day Celebration on November 11th at 1:45. Students are encouraged to invite area veterans. Featured at our celebration will be State Representative Matt Gabler and performances by the DuBois Area Middle School band and chorus.

JOHNSTOWN: State Rep. Frank Burns, D-Cambria/Somerset, will offer a free spaghetti dinner to military veterans from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday at the Rosebud Inn, 1654 William Penn Ave.
Burns and his staff also will be on hand to offer information about and assistance with programs benefiting veterans.
Veterans wishing to obtain a complimentary meal must show military identification. While the free meal applies only to military veterans, other guests are welcome.
