Venue Burns 5 Days Before Wedding

A couple stays positive even after their reception venue burns down 5 days before they are set to say "I do".
DUBOIS, CLEARFIELD COUNTY - At 2:00 Monday morning, fire crews were called to the DuBois Country Club. When they arrived they say flames were already shooting through the roof. They tried to go in, but the fire was so severe they had to back out.

The only part they were able to save was the pro-shop. The rest of the building is a total loss and they do plan to rebuild, but it will not be in time for Megan Herzing and Bartley Webb's wedding reception that is scheduled for this Saturday.

"We were stressed we had a little bit of a cry. We got that out and then, we moved on" said Herzing.

It's something they are kind of use to. They have had to re-plan their wedding twice already.

"My mother has ovarian cancer. We got some news that she wasn’t doing well so we moved our wedding up to March 1. We moved everything within 3 hours and that was 3 weeks ago so everything has been a whirlwind" said the bride to be.

They got good news recently about her mom and are now, just excited to get married. They will host the reception at the Lakeview Lodge.

"I’m marrying my best friend and I'm excited about it so it doesn't matter where it is" she said. She added, "It’s going to be a perfect day. I've already told everybody that it's the same reason for us getting married. It's the same people, the same party we are just having it at a different spot".

They also have quite the story to tell.

"You think you had it bad, you think it was stressful before your wedding guess what happened to us" said the Groom as they both laugh.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
