Tornado Confirmed in Bedford County

Tornado touched down near Everett and traveled to Hopewell.
After a careful survey, the National Weather Service in State College confirmed a tornado touched down at 6:14pm on June 11th near Everett. The tornado skipped along a 12 mile path before lifting near Hopewell at 7:20pm. The tornado was ranked as an EF-1 with maximum winds of 93mph. The path of damage was as wide as 100 yards. Fortunately there was no injuries or fatalities. Two homes and two barns were damaged, one of the barns destroyed.
