State Police investigating bond theft

Authorities say the bonds were valued at more than $3,000.
RUSH TOWNSHIP, CENTRE COUNTY – State Police in Philipsburg are investigating the theft of thousands of dollars worth of bonds from a Rush Township home.

Police say the theft occurred some time between January 9th and June 27th at a home on Birch Street.

Someone allegedly entered the home and removed approximately 30 bonds values around $3,500 before fleeing.

The investigation is ongoing.
