State investing millions in water projects

Several communities in Central PA will receive money for improvements.
HARRISBURG – Lawmakers have announced they are investing more than $40 million in water projects across the state, including several in our region.

Glendale Valley Water Authority will get money for drinking water and wastewater improvements.

West Providence Township in Bedford County and Upper Yoder Township in Cambria and Somerset Counties will get money for their waste water treatment.

Lawmakers say the projects could bring more jobs to the region.
