SFU's Williams Invited to Exclusive ProHoops WNBA Combine

Bishop Guilfoyle grad will be evaluated by WNBA coaches and personnel in advance of upcoming draft.
LORETTO, CAMBRIA COUNTY - Saint Francis University women’s basketball senior Alli Williams will travel to Nashville, Tenn. this weekend to participate in the invitation-only 2014 ProHoops WNBA Combine in preparation for the WNBA Draft.
The exclusive combine is set for Saturday, April 5, at the A-Game Sportsplex. It is held in conjunction with the Women's Final Four, and offers the top college seniors in the country and other professional players the opportunity to be evaluated by WNBA coaches and personnel before the upcoming draft.
Williams reached both the 2,000 career point mark and 1,000 rebound mark in 2013-14. The Altoona, Pa. native became just the 11th player in NCAA women's basketball history to have at least 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds, and 300 steals.

She now stands as one of just three players in Saint Francis history to have reached the 2,000 career point mark, and one of just six in NEC history.

Williams also earned her second straight CoSIDA Capital One Academic All America Selection in 2014 for her work off the court. She holds a 3.86 GPA in her double major of Occupational Therapy and Psychology.

She finished fifth in the nation in points per game at 25.3. In the inaugural season of naming an All-NEC Defensive Team, Williams also earned a spot. The league leader in steals at 3.14 per game, she also ranks seventh in the country in the category.
Saint Francis has had one player drafted in its history as it saw standout player Jess Zinobile get drafted in 2000 by the WNBA’s Sacramento Monarchs.
