Palm Beach Gardens, FL (Sports Network) - Adam Scott, the 2013 Masters champion, has earned the final invite to the PGA Grand Slam of Golf following Rory McIlroy's victory at the PGA Championship on Sunday.

With McIlroy already guaranteed a spot at this year's event with a win at the Open Championship, Scott has been invited as he looks to become the first back-to-back winner at the Grand Slam of Golf since Tiger Woods in 2005 and 2006.

The PGA Grand Slam of Golf, which is a 36-hole event, will be held October 13-15 at Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton, Bermuda.

Last year, Adam Scott fired a 64 on the final day and finished his two days at 8-under-par 134, edging 2013 U.S. Open champion Justin Rose by two shots. Jason Dufner, the 2013 PGA Championship winner, ended in third at minus-3. Padraig Harrington, the winner of this event in 2012, replaced Open champion Phil Mickelson last year. Harrington finished fourth at 3-over.

This event invites the four major champions from each year to participate, but since McIlroy is a two-time major champion this season, the next invitation is extended to the defending champion.

Scott and McIlroy will join Masters champion Bubba Watson and U.S. Open winner Martin Kaymer at Port Royal Golf Course.
