School Gets Graffitied

A local elementary school got an unwanted paint job overnight.
STATE COLLEGE, CENTRE COUNTY - A local elementary school got an unwanted paint job overnight.

State College Police are investigating another graffiti incident.

Police say the suspects tagged the back of Radio Park Elementary School sometime between 2 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday.

The suspects spray-painted various pictures and writings along the brick wall and windows of the school.

Custodians cleaning the mess Sunday say it could be a couple of days before they're able to remove all the paint.

"It's disappointing," School Custodian, Jeffrey Reichenbach said. "School's right around the corner and it's hard to try and get the building ready for the kids, but then to come out and see that somebody would do this to the side of the building and add more time and hard work that's needed to work inside the building to get ready for the kids."

Anyone with information about the incident should call State College Police at 814-234-7150.
