Sandusky Scandal Costs Near $52 Million

Penn State costs for the Sandusky scandal near $52 million, per the latest report.
PENN STATE, UNIVERSITY PARK - Penn State's costs for the Jerry Sandusky scandal are nearing $52 million.

According to the Penn State Progress website's newest data, the university has paid $51,792,125 in fees related to the scandal, as of August 31, 2013.

The total includes the $12 million fine from the NCAA, as well as university legal service expenses and other institutional costs.
