REPORT: Steelers' Pouncey to Be Charged in Nightclub Assault

According to the Miami Herald Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey could be charged as early as today for involvement in nightclub assault.
PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA - As the Steelers push towards their first preseason game (Saturday at NYG), a major headache regarding one of their top players continues off the field.

The Miami Herald is reporting that Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey will be charged with misdemeanor battery.  That following accusations that he and his twin brother Mike assaulted nightclub patrons in Miami last month.  The report says the charges could come as soon as Friday.

The incident happened back in July at the Pouncey brothers annual birthday party at Cameo Nightclub in Miami Beach.  A woman claims that Maurkice punched her in the face.  3 people in all claimed they were injured in the altercation.

Maurkice insists that he and his brother, Mike were not involved in the fight.
