About the Film from it's production company, Poke the Bear Productions LLC: "MOREAU is a suspense film that follows a hunter in search of the perfect prey. In his experience, he has found that the animals the world provides are not the challenge they used to be. Animals lack the courage, cunningness and reasoning that Moreau possesses, and therefore, are not a real challenge. His pursuit for this challenge has brought him to the point where he is today, hunting the only creature that parallels his abilities: human kind."
"Moreau" was filmed locally on a Red Epic Cinema Camera at 4.5K resolution; its resolution is high enough to be screened at an IMAX theater. Many professionals working on the film traveled to Pennsylvania from New York City, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and we even have professionals working on the project in the UK. These professionals were mixed with young local talent that were interested in learning more about the film industry," said Christopher James Cramer, Director of "Moreau". "I was locally raised, which is why I was adamant in bringing the project back to Cambria County. The story of this suspense-thriller follows the survival of two women as they are being hunted by the main character, Moreau. While the film is currently NR, it's our belief it would be rated PG-13."
